My husband Stephen and I would like to welcome you to our 200-year old home, where we practice ancient arts -- pottery and poetry and grow vegetables and flowers. Our work is inextricably woven into the fabric of our lives.

This is my 50th year as a working potter! When young, I spent 10 years among the Amuesha of Oxapampa, Peru, in an effort to build a pottery business with them, and for their cultural survival. Since then I have been here in Western Massachusetts making pots. Recently I have been experimenting with slabs, handbuilding and sculptural work.

Over the years we have spent free time in swamps and wetlands, looking for herons and cranes. Herons are loners -- they focus and meditate. Cranes are ancient symbols of happiness, harmony and bliss. These ancient birds, with their 10 million-year-old habits, inspire me.

Come see my new work, old work and the work of my two guests: Abby Berkson and Tiffany Hilton.

May we all prosper on this amazing earth.
