Stephen and I welcome you to visit our 200-year-old home where we practice the ancient arts of pottery and poetry. For years Iíve wanted to cook with my pots directly on the stovetop. Now I am excited to offer you Flameware.

Iím grateful to Robbie Lobell of Cook on Clay for sharing her knowledge with me. These pots can be used right on the burner, gas or electric, in the oven, on the grill, gas or charcoal. They have the amazing power to pass through fire and ice without cracking. (Of course, they can still break if you drop them.) Every piece has passed rigorous testing and is ready to use.

Local chef Alice Cozzolino will be here at noon on Saturday cooking with our pots, pans and pizza stones. If you come by then, you can see Flameware in action and enjoy a delicious free lunch. (Locally sourced, vegan and gluten-free options.)

Ellen Grenadier of Monterrey, MA, will bring her wonderful dinnerware, bowls and platters. Her current work incorporates impressions of the natural world in elegant and functional forms and the colors of the Berkshires.
